How To Make People Laugh - Photography Techniques

Hahahahahah, seriously! I love to photograph people smiling or laughing because I laugh shooting . It’s such a happy, super unguarded moment that, if shot it well, can put on a real smile on your face over years to come to come. But shooting people laughing isn’t as straightforward as you think. It takes a little steps to do it really well. Here is the story.

1. . GET THEM CLOSER
Whether you’re shooting a family, couple or group of people, you will want folks to get closer for a wonderful laughing shot. Because If everyone is spread out, it a little bit hard to capture that link between individuals that happens when they actually laugh together.
So just prior to a laughing photograph, try and make everyone snuggles in really really tight. Bring their heads close together. If you are shooting a family few people, where height can vary, getting them to all have a sit will really help! I think smiles and  laughter is more contagious when you see the people around you laughing. Sure!

2. BALANCE EMOTIONS WITH A FLATTERING IMAGE
There’s a careful steadiness to be found when taking a genuine emotion, and presenting a flattering picture of someone. In photography, there is nothing as hard and fast rule. You will have to be able to judge yourself  to balance.
When a laugh begins, it’s a bit uncertain. Then, when your subject just gives in to it, they can occasionally laugh *big*. Taking Photos at this point of a laugh can be intense! Then, as the laugh does down, it will appears more like a huge smile. This is where the  supper magic happens. Some people look wonderful at the peak of a laugh, some do not. But I can assure you everyone looks wonderful on the downswing!

So, for you to capture this moment, try shooting during the laugh. You will see how someone’s face changes as they  were laughing. As you practice this, you will be able to focus and time your shots on the most photogenic part of their laugh, and produce shots with correct emotion that are super flattering!
Just be patient when shooting people that laughs.

3. GET YOURSELF CLOSER
I am shy, therefore I always have to move myself to get close to my client while photographing them. But you know what? laughing folks are picture-perfect to get close to! They are happy, and not really concentrated on the photographer, so there’s less discomfort as you move in close.
Like I said before, people aren’t too concentrating on the camera when they are distracted by laughter, as such the emotions you capture are real. Shooting closer also gives the picture a feeling of being there, and intensifies the happiness generated by the image.

4. MAKE THEM LAUGH
Yes this is my story, at this point you are probably asking  how on earth will I get people laugh so much that I capture all those awesome super emotions.
Here are a few actions I’ve picked up i have come up with to give you a super wonderful pictures.
Tickling: here is a cheap trick, but it really works. I use it so much since I’m not ticklish enough. You know what? a few tickles really gets someone laughing!
Bum Wiggling:
This is a supper  one I learned this year. though I sometimes get some resistance (from those troublesome adults), but gosh it really funny. Just get everyone to shake their bums. It keeps your posture in place, but gets them loosened up, moving, and usually laughing. And who does not giggle when you say “Bum”. Lolz, I’m giggling right now dear.
That Crazy Crazy Faces:
A great crazy face gives you, and everyone around you laugh. If I may ask, who does not love pulling crazy face? Adults. That is who. Parents have learned and re-learned the fine art of the crazy crazy face, but many grown up are a little too up tight to let go. In that case, start them with something easy. “Unhappy face! Angry face!”. They can handle it, and then crazy crazy face does not seemingly silly. This is guaranteed laughs if you can them make crazy crazy faces at each other.
Have Great Jokes:
I have a SUPER KILLER knock joke that I tell them at every time, and it guaranteed laughs. But I have to let you know here that it has to be in person.
Feel ok to ask me about i if we really met in real life. But I highly encourage you to look for a couple solid, mature and all-ages jokes that you can crack. Always easy laughs
Fake Laugh:
This is my super secret to making people to laugh. It works, every time. It get everybody to give their biggest, silly, fakest laugh on the count of 3, 2, 1. But here is where patience will come into display. The fake laugh may not be very photogenic. It’s fake friend, What gives the great pictures are the real laughs that come after hearing everyone else being so ludicrous with their fake laughs. Seriously this is what I use try this out. It’s super magic
I hope you have gotten those tricks to capture better photos of people laughing, so there you have it. Oh, you want a more reason to take more photos of people laughing? Actually, laughing is a form of exercise, it reduces blood pressure, and helps in relieving stress! A such it releases endorphins and also contributes to group bonding. Alright, Let me stop here.
