BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY - Photography Tips

BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY - Photography Tips
I really LOVE what I do and I love how it makes people feel...

I have been in the business of covering event for the past 10years,especially wedding event.

To be the only official photographer for an event especially wedding event is something so exciting especially when you understand your equipment, develop your skills and have experience of such event. I have come to a point that I don’t just go to cover an event but I go to have fun covering it.

At the end of the day they will pay me for it for covering the event.
Many photographer derived pleasure from shouting and event, some have fear, event photography is different from other photography skills. You have to understand that event photography must be detailed from the starting from beginning to the end.
Here are those things that will help you in making your event job excitement and professional:

Before the Wedding

Preparation
It's said lack of preparation that brings frustration… proper preparation is needed in the act of photography. When an event is giving to you, do you ground and home work well. Take some times to meet people who have shoot such wedding before, get to their blog and website, do research on such event how it is done, in that case you will discover some important details that will help you stand out from others photographers and be a successfully one.
Still on the preparation before the wedding,
At the time of the deal there are two things that will enhance the process.
First, get to know the client, Spend some time talking so you will know them and what they really want  and they will also know you and what your will really offer. When the main day comes, they should feel comfortable working with you so their true personalities can shine.
It is a good idea to give them some posing photo tips that they will use on their wedding date.

Checking
To go further, you have to check you equipment prior to the event, to avoid frustration and failures.
There was a time I was called to shot a wedding event,  I checks my camera prior to the event I discover that there was a problem with my lens, I have to rent for a new one.
A proper checking requires making sure you have backups of everything.
Other important information to check is venue of the event, some question that will help is are:
how is lightening on the stage and at the venue? what will be the capacity of the event? will it be indoor or outdoor event? All this needs check to help you know that kind of equipment you need to go with.

Appearance
They said "the way you dress is how people address you"
To blending into your client wedding event  is the dress you use, photography has it dress code, has every other profession has it own, before the wedding date make sure you have the color of you dress the will blend to the wedding -  dressing appropriately. Talk to the bride and groom about their plans before the wedding date.

Get fit
You need physical fitness to handle a super wedding event – strength.
Have a light meal, drink an energy drink, and water and get some snacks. If you have any health challenge, for example, Asthma,  headache, you can get a pain relieve tablet and asthmatic drugs for relieve in your pack.

ON THE WEDDING DAY

Arrival
It very good you arrived your client wedding event on time.  Mean earlier before the wedding start.
When you arrive the venue of the wedding event shot the outdoor venue photos. Check for were the bride and the groom will stay. Set your camera and equipment after you ensured that the setting of your camera indoor is okay.
I will tell you more of the camera stuff when you are the wedding event what to do and what not to do
